The creator of The Simpsons Matt Groening included some jokes in various episodes that show his courage. He said things about some big people and big companies that he was lucky to get out with those. For example, in one of the episodes, Homer said to March, ‘We can’t watch Fox because they own those chemical weapons plants in Syria.” People enjoyed these bold jokes.
The guest stars
Some of the big celebrities have been part of this series as guests. Liz Taylor gave voice to baby Maggie’s first word ‘Daddy’. Michael Jackson gave voice to a fat white character and an insane asylum. Tony Blair and Russell Brand were also guest stars.
The love that is portrayed between Homer and Marge is just awesome. Some of the dialogues they exchanged were so romantic. For example, Homer saying, “Marge, look at me: we’ve been separated for a day, and I’m as dirty as a Frenchmen. In another few hours, I’ll be dead!” We see the life of a long-married couple who are deeply in love with each other.
Of course, the other characters also play a major role in this famous TV series. All these reasons together make this series so popular even today.
